MISC INFORMATION

Emergencies:

If you have an emergency during work hours, please call our office if possible to notify us if you need to be seen.  We may be able to adjust our schedule to accommodate you.  If the emergency is of a more severe nature please call 911.

Fees & Insurance:

Payment is expected at the time service is rendered.  Charges for first time visits for a specific problem are typically higher than follow up visits.

Our office personnel would be happy to discuss charges with you at any time. We realize that often medical expense is not anticipated and we are willing to work with you in advance to make financial arrangements.

As a courtesy to our patients we will submit your insurance claim to your primary insurance carrier.  However, the responsibility of payment of your bill is yours regardless of the insurance provided.  You will receive a monthly statement from our clinic.  If you have any questions on insurance or your account balance, please call 884-8300.

Prescriptions:

We often use medicines with our patients in the course of their treatment.  If you have any problems with your medicines please call us immediately.  Occasionally any type of medicine can have an undesired side effect and we would like to avoid this if at all possible.

No routine medicine refills will be given in the evenings, on weekends, or on holidays.

Medical Records:

We need your written authorization specifically directing us to release information to any third party except your insurance carrier.  We respect your privacy and will do our best to keep your records personal and confidential.

Hospital Privileges:

Dr. Palmer has privileges at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center, St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Emerald Surgery Center, Orthopedic Surgery Center of Idaho, and Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital.
